STRAWBERRY GLAZE PIE

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbs. white corn syrup
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 Tbs. dry strawberry flavored gelatin
  • 1 qt. strawberries

Preparation

Step 1

Boil sugar, water, cornstarch, and corn syrup until thick and clear. Take off heat and add dry gelatin and stir well. Add a few drops of red coloring for the strawberries. Stir in the fruit. Fill the cooled crust. May serve with whipped topping.

[Other fresh fruit can be used such as peaches, apricots, raspberries, etc. Just alter the flavor of gelatin and the food coloring depending on which fruit you are using.]
