  • C. Bread flour

    C. warm water (105-115 degrees)

  • ½

    C. sugar

  • 1

    T salt

  • 2

    pkgs dry yeast

  • C. lard

  • 6

    T. butter

  • 1

    C. packed brown sugar

  • 3

    tsp. cinnamon


In large bowl combine 2 C. of bread flour with water, sugar, salt and yeast. Beat the mixture for 2 min then add eggs and lard. Stir until all ingredients are combined. Gradually add remaining flour until a firm dough is formed. Cover bowl and set in warm area for 20 min. Punch dough down and divide into half. Roll out on floured surface as thin as possible. Brush the dough with softened butter and sprinkle with half of the brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll dough up and cut 1/2 to 1/4" thick. Place rolls in buttered pan. Set in warm area and raise until double their size. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 min
