Filled Wontons

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 20 wonton wrappers (can be found in the produce section)
  • olive oil
  • your choice of filling (chicken salad, crab salad…any cold pre made salad….)
  • **Demarle roul pat
  • **Demarle mini muffin tray
  • **Demarle perforated sheet
  • **Demarle silicone pastry brush

Preparation

Step 1

Directions:
Place wontons on roul pat and with the demarle pastry brush, brush both sides of the wonton lightly with olive oil. You do this because wontons are to be fried, and this will flavor your wonton while it is baking!
After brushing both sides, place 1 wonton at a time into a mini muffin opening. It should fit into the mini muffin and look like a cupcake paper liner would.
Bake at 350 for about 10 or 15 min. until the tips are brown. Cool for 10 min.
Place on platter and fill with any filling you would like.
