Eggnog pound cake 0 Picture


  • 1 - 18 ½ oz. pkg Yellow cake mix
  • 1 – 4 serving size pkg instant vanilla flavor pudding
  • ¾ c. egg nog
  • ¾ c. vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ - ¾ e tsp ground nutmeg



Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, egg nog and oil; beat on low speed until moistened. Add eggs and nutmeg; beat on medium for 4 minutes.

Pour into greased and floured bundt pan.

Bake 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.

Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or put powdered sugar glaze on top.

Glaze: take approx 1 c. powdered sugar, 1 tsp. soft butter and enough milk to make glaze. Add ¼ tsp nutmeg. Pour glaze around top of cake allowing it to drizzle down the sides of cake.
