Ingredients
- 1 lb of bacon fried and crumbled or sausage
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup of shredded grueyre
- 1/2 grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups of shredded hashbrowns
- 1 (9 inch) deep dish frozen pie crust
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup half-and-half cream
Preparation
Step 1
1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2.In a medium bowl, mix the bacon, onions, and both cheeses.
3.Mix the eggs and half and half in a bowl. Combine the egg mixture into the cheese mixture. Mix well. Pour into unthawed 9" pie crust. Pat down if piled high in the crust.
4.Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for an additional 35 minutes, until top of quiche begins to turn brown.
5. Let rest 10 min before slicing.
