Ingredients

  • Glaze:
  • 2 cups peeled, finely chopped apples
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 -1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • dash nutmeg, if desired
  • 2 8 oz. cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 - 3 teaspoons water

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir until apples are well coated. Separate crescent dough into 16 triangles. Spoon about 1 rounded tablespoon of the apple mixture onto the center of each triangle. Fold 3 points of dough over filling, overlapping like an envelope. Place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until deep golden brown. Remove from pan to cool. Blend glaze ingredients until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over warm rolls.
