Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz) can pitted dark sweet cherries in heavy syrup, undrained
- 1 t. conrstarch
- 1 T. plus 1 t. brandy
- 2/3 c. vanilla ice milk
- 2 t. grated semisweet chocolate
Preparation
Step 1
Drain cherries, reserving 1/3 cup syrup and 3/4 cup cherries. Reserve remaining cherries for another use. Combine syrup and cornstarch in small saucepan; stir well. Bring to boil, and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Stir in reserved 3/4 cup cherries and brandy. Cook 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
To serve, spoon ice milk into 2 dessert dishes; top with cherry mixture, and sprinkle with chocolate. Serve immediately.
