Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 3/4 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. halved candied cherries
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. granulated sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 325 F. Grease loaf pan and line with wax paper. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in chocolate chips, nuts and fruit. In a large bowl with egg beaters, beat eggs and gradually add sugar. Fold in flour, mix into egg mix. Pour in loaf tine. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until done. Cool in pan on wire rack, wrap well.
