- 3/4 cup butter
- 4 tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
- 4 tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 pint oysters
- 6 cups diced bread
- 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 cup mix of milk and oyster liquid
Melt butter in pan; add onion, celery and parsley. Saute a few minutes.
Add drained, chopped oysters and heat.
Combine with bread and seasonings and moisten dressing slightly with milk and oyster liquid.
Stuff turkey and roast according to directions on wrapper.
