Ingredients
- 2 TB sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 pkg dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water

Preparation
Step 1
put yeast in warm water with 1 tsp sugar, let stand til bubbles, add to flour and other ingredients. Mix and knead til dough is smooth.
Let rise for 30 - 45 minutes.
Beat down again. Let rise again.
Roll out - spread melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon, roll up and cut with a piece of thread. Put in buttered and brown sugared 9X13 pan, let rise
Bake at 350* for 25-30 minutes
