HOT BUTTERED RUM

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter
  • 1 lb. brown sugar
  • 1 lb. granulated sugar
  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter; add the rest of the ingredients. Store in a plastic container in the freezer.
To serve, put 1 heaping Tbs. of the mixture in a cup. Add 1 jigger of rum and fill the cup with boiling water.
