Peanut Crunch

Ingredients

  • GLAZE:
  • 18 ounces peanut butter(2 cups+2 tbsp.)
  • 12 ounces baking chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cups honey
  • 1/2 cup unsalted peanuts(chopped)
  • 6 cups rice krispies
  • 7 ounces white chocolate bar
  • 3 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 2 squares baking chocolate

Preparation

Step 1

1. Melt first three ingredients in a double broiler. Remove from heat. Add peanuts and rice krispies and mix. Press mixture into a cookie sheet and cool.
2. For glaze stir white chocolate with peanut butter over low heat, until smooth.Pour over peanut butter in cookie sheet. Quickly tilt pan in each direction to spread glaze evenly.
3. Melt baking chocolate in plastic bag. Using a toothpick pierce through corner of bag to form a hole.
4. Drizzle chocolate across width of peanut crunch forming straight lines. Draw a knife back and forth lengthwise creating a wave effect.
5. Cut peanut crunch into circles using a round cookie cutter.
6. To prevent cracking of glaze, so not freeze before cutting into circles.
