Dumplings

Found in Grandma Eva's recipe box. It looks like Grandpa had reduced the recipe, as he had written "For Two" on the side with the measurements I put in ( ) in the ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup Sifted Flour (1 cup)
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder (1 1/2 tsp)
  • 3/4 tsp. Salt (1/2 tsp)
  • 3/4 cup Milk (1/2 cup)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients together. Drop by spoonfuls onto meat in boiling meat stock (drop on meat, not liquid). Cook 10 minutes uncovered. Cook 10 minutes tightly covered.
