TOFFEE /CHOCOLATE CANDY

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 C light brown sugar
  • saltines
  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 3/4 C chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Line cookie sheet with foil and butter well (sides too). Melt butter and sugar; cook 10 minutes until mix starts to congeal. Line cookie sheet with saltines and pour toffee mix over and spread. Bake at 450 degrees 5-10 minutes until bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top and spread. Press chopped pecans on top. Put in freezer to harden. Break into pieces.
