Ingredients

  • 8

    oz macaroni

  • 1

    C of steamed fresh broccoli /optional

  • 4

    T butter

  • 2

    tsp flour

  • 2

    C milk / try to have a ½ C be cream

  • 1

    C sharp cheddar

  • ¼

    C swiss cheese

  • ¼

    C parmesan cheese

  • ½

    tsp salt

  • ¼

    tsp cayenne pepper

  • bread crumbs to top

Directions

Cook pasta el dente. in a pan melt butter & add flour. Stir till smooth. gradually whisk in milk ( stir constantly until thick). Remove from heat. Add cheese,salt & pepper. Add macaroni & broccoli. pour into 8x8 buttered dish. Bake 375* for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake 10-15 minutes longer.
