Sour cream coffee cake

Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • ½ c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 ½ c. sour cream
  • 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
  • ¼ c. white sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together in a large mixing bowl the butter, sugar and eggs. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix slightly. Add vanilla and sour cream and mix on high speed till batter is smooth. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 cake pan.

Mix topping and sprinkle on top. Bake about 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
