Pear Saute

Ingredients

  • 4 pears, cored, peeled, sliced 1/2-inch thick
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Mexican vanilla
  • pinch of salt

Preparation

Step 1

In a large saucepan or skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add pears, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Cook, stirring often, until pears are tender (approx. 6-7 minutes) Remove from heat and serve warm.
