Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 1/2 tbsp. rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp. sesame oil

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

  • 1 tbsp. grated fresh ginger

  • 1 tsp. minced garlic

  • 2 pounds salmon fillets

  • cedar plank

Directions

Soak cedar plank for at least one hour, preferably 2, in warm water. Stir together all ingredients except fish. Pour marinade over salmon and turn to coat 15 minutes to 1 hour. Preheat grill to medium heat. Place cedar planks on grate. They should start to smoke and crackle after 3 minutes. Flip over the planks. Place salmon on planks (where the skin was facing down). Cover and grill about 13 minutes. It should flake.
