Ingredients
- 2/3 c. butter, softened
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 T. poppy seed
- 2 1/2 t. Dijon style mustard
- 4 1/2 dozen biscuits, or tiny, soft party rolls
- 1 lb. shaved country or honey-baked ham
Preparation
Step 1
In a small bowl, stir together butter, onion, poppy seed, and mustard until smooth. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours to blend flavors.
Preheat oven to 350. Return mixture to room temperature to soften. Halve biscuits horizontally. Spread each biscuit bottom with butter mixture. For each serving, place a piece of ham on buttered biscuit bottom; cover with biscuit top. Place biscuits in shallow baking pans. cover with foil and bake about 10 minutes or just until warm.
