Oven Roasted Asparagus with Thyme

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. asparagus spears
  • 1 large garlic cloved, halved
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
  • pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Peheat oven to 400 degres.

Snap off tough ends of asparagus; remove scales with a vegetable peeler and set aside.

Rub cut sides of garlic over a 13 x 9 inch pan, place garlic in dish. Add asparagus and drizzle with oil. Sprinkle with salt, thyme, and pepper and toss gently.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring once.
