Mediterranean pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 2 8oz cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/2 lb. prosciutto
  • 6 oz crumbled feta
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 T. oil
  • 3/4 C. chopped fresh basil

Preparation

Step 1

1) heat oven to 375. spray cookie sheet with pam. separate dough into 8 rectagles; place on lightly floured surface. press perforations to seal. press or roll to form an 8x5" rectangle

2) arrange prosciutto slices evenly over each rectangle. in a bowl stir together cheese, pepper and oil. sprinkle over prosciutto on each rectangle. sprinkle with basil. starting at the short side of eah rectangle, roll up; seal along edges.

3) with serrated knife, cut each roll into 5 slices. place cut side up on cookie sheet. bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown
