Ingredients
- Dough:
- 1 ¾ cups of flour
- ¼ cup of sugar
- ½ cup of butter
- salt
- 2 yellows of eggs
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon of lemon zest
- stuffing:
- ½ cup of sugar
- ¼ cup of flour
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup of melted butter
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons of lemon zest
- 3-5 apples peeled and sliced ‘
- icing sugar
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine flour, sugar, butter and salt in a cuisinart.
2. Mix yellows, vanilla et lemon zest and add to dough.
3. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
4. When ready to use, roll and knead in a flan pan. Refrigerate.
5. Heat the oven at 375.
6. Make the stuffing by combining sugar, flour, and egg and beat.
7. Incorporate melted butter, vanilla and lemon zest.
8. Place apple slices into crust and pour stuffing over.
9. Cook for 30-40 minutes. Cool and sprinkle with icing sugar.
