Crumb Top Coffee Cake

Delicious and easy way to make coffee cake!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (preferably whipped)
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Combine butter, flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt and mix until crumbly. Save 1/2 cup for topping and set aside. To the remaining mixture, add egg and milk. Mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 8X8-inch pan. Sprinkle saved crumb topping on top. Bake 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
