Strawberries Cardinal

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 3 tbs. sugar
  • 1 package frozen raspberry, thawed (425 grams)
  • 1 tbs. Grand Mariner
  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh mint leaves

Preparation

Step 1

Place the strawberries in a bowl an sprinkle with sugar to taste. Stir and cover, chill for three hours.

In a blender or food processor and puree the raspberries. Pass through a sieve to remove seeds. Add liquor and lemon juice, mix well. Cover and chill.

Place strawberries in a serving bowl and spoon sauce over top.
