Garlic Fries

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, inced
  • 2 TBSP canola oil
  • 3 large baking potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • cooking spray
  • 1 TBSP parsley

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

2. Heat the garlic and together tin small saucepan over medium heat for 2 minutes.

3. Strain the garlic from the oil with mesh strainer and set both aside.

4. Cut potatoes into 1/4 in thick match sticks.

5. In a large bowl, toss together the oil, potatoes and salt.

6. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray and spread the potatoes on it in a single layer.

7. Bake until golden and crisp (about 30 minutes)

8. Remove the fries with a metal spatula.

9. In a serving bowl, toss them with the parsley, reserved garlic and salt to taste.
