5 minute slow cooker chili

Using chunky salsa eliminates the need for vegetable chopping and helps keep the prep time to a minimum. You can literally put this chili together while walking out the door and come back a few hours to a luscious meal. Garnish with cooked corn kernels or diced avocado.

Ingredients
- 1 (24 oz) jar chunky tomato salsa
- 2 tablespoons chili powder, plus additional to taste
- 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
- 2 (16 oz) cans black beans, drained/rinsed
- 1 (16 oz ) can dark red kidney beans, drained/rinsed
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Pour the salsa into a 4 qt slow cooker.
Stir in the 2 tablespoon chili powder and the ketchup.
Add the black beans, kidney beans, water, salt & pepper.
If you like a spicier chili, add more chili powder.
Cover and slow cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
