Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • Unsalted saltines
  • 1 14 oz. bag chocolate chips
  • Chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Spray with pam. Lay saltines on foil.
2. On stove, melt butter with sugar in pot. Pou rmelted mixture over saltines, Bake in oven for 10 minutes. After you remove them from the ove, sprinkle the chips on top.
3. As they melt, spread the chocolate to cover saltines. if desired sprinkle chopped nuts on top of melted chocolate. Put in fridge for a few hours. Break apart and enjoy!
