FRUIT COBBLER

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. juice from the peaches
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 large can sliced peaches

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all the dry ingredients together, then add the milk. In a 8 x 8" or 9 x 9" glass baking dish, melt the butter. Pour dough in the dish and mix with the butter. Place the drained, sliced peaches on top of the mixture.
Bake at 375° for 45 minutes. Cut and serve warm.
