DOUBLE CHOCOLATE COOKIES

  • 2 1/2 C chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
  • 10 T butter
  • 1 C white sugar
  • 1 C brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 t vanilla
  • 2 C flour
  • 1/2 C cocoa powder
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 3/4 t salt
  • powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt chocolate chips over low heat. In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Add melted chocolate and mix. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl, then add to butter mixture. Using an ice cream scoop, place dough balls on cookie sheet 2" apart. Bake 12 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar when cool.
