Taco Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 - 2 (15 1/4 oz.) cans chili beans, undrained
  • 2 (15 1/4 oz.) cans whole kernel corn, undrained
  • 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 1 envelope Ranch style salad dressing mix
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • Toppings: crushed tortilla chips, shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese
  • Flour tortillas, warmed

Preparation

Step 1

Cook beef and onion in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat until meat is browned and onion is tender. stirring until meat crumbles; drain.

Stir in beans and next 6 ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Spoon the soup into bowls and top with desired toppings.

Serve with warmed flour tortillas.
