Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. light corn syrup
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 2 Tbs. lemon juice
- 3 Tbs. lime juice
- 3 or 4 drops green food coloring
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, beat eggs until blended. Gradually beat in sugar until thick and lemon colored, about 5 minutes. Beat in corn syrup, buttermilk, lemon peel, lemon juice, lime juice and food coloring until evenly distributed. Pour into ice cream canister. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
