    cup creamy peanut butter

  • cup granulated sugar

  • cup packed light brown sugar

1. Pre-heat the oven to 375 deg. F 2. Remove wrappers from the chocolates. 3. Beat shortening and peanut butter in large bowl until well blended. 4. Add 133 cup granulated sugar and brown sugar, beat until fluffly. Add egg, milk and vanilla, beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt, gradually beat into peanut butter mixture. 5. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar, place an ungreased cookie sheet. 6. Bake 8 to 10 min. or until lightly browned. Immediately press a chocolate into the center of each cookie, cookie will crack around the edges. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
