Ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softeed
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cups quick oats
- 1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375. Coat a 8 X 8 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside. In a small bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and salt together. In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter on medium high speed until fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Mix in milk then flour mixture. Stir in oats and 1 cup of the chocolate chips. Spread batter into prepared baking pan. Bake at 370 for 35 minutes or until done. Cool completely on a wire rack. Microwave remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth. Drizzle over bars. Cut into squares.
