Ingredients
- 1 head of lettuce
- 5-6 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- salt & pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Cut lettuce head into quarters.
Fry bacon pieces and sprinkle over lettuce.
Add vinegar, sugar, and water to bacon grease. Bring to a boil and let thicken.
Pour liquid over lettuce, season with salt & pepper.
