Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sifted confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla.
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Stir flour and salt together; blend in. Mix in nuts. Chill dough.
Roll dough into 1" balls. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. (NOTE: Cookies don't spread.) In a 400° oven, bake cookies 10- 12 minutes until they are set but not brown. While still warm, roll in confectioner's sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.
