Ingredients
- 2 packages yeast
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups lukewarm water
- 1 egg
- 7 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons shortening
Preparation
Step 1
Mix yeast, sugar, salt and water, add beaten egg.
Sift flour and add half flour and beat well, add melted shortening, mix remaining flour. Let rise to double its bulk. Punch down cover lightly and place in refrigerator. 1/2 hour before baking, remove desired amount of dough. Shape into rolls and place on greased pan. Let rise.
