Homemade Muesli

Ingredients

  • 2 cups large-flake oats
  • 3/4 cup oat bran
  • 3/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup shelled, unsalted sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp. wheat germ
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

In large resealable bag, combine ingredients. Using rolling pin, crush mixture into coarse crumbs. Shake bag to combine. Prepare the night before by combining 1/3 cup Muesli with 1/3 cup skim milk or water and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, pop it in the microwave for a hot breakfast or combine with 175g. of non-fat, sugar-free fruit yogurt and enjoy cold.
