Ingredients
- 1 can black beans, rinsed & drained
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes (I use 1 can rotel + fresh tomatoes)
- 1 jar picante sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 T OO
- 1/4 t cumin
- 1 t oregano
- 2 t chili powder
Preparation
Step 1
Saute garlic & onion in oil, add remaining ingredients & simmer 15 min.
Can be served hot over orzo or rice (or other pasta) topped with cheese & fresh cilantro.
Or serve as a dip
