Ingredients
- 5 cups oats, blended
- 2 cups butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 lbs chocolate chips
- 8 oz dark chocolate, grated
- 3 cups nuts, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375.
Grind oats in food processor until it is a fine powder.
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, oatmeal, salt, bpowder and bsoda. Add chips, grated chocolate and nuts.
Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet, or drop by teaspoonfuls. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or for 10-12 minutes for a crisper cookie.
