Ingredients
- Have all ingredients at room temp.
- Dry ingredients: whisk together thoroughly.
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- In a lg. bowl, beat on high speed until lightened in color & texture,2-3 min.
- 5 1/3 tbsps. unsalted butter
- 2/3 c. sugar
- Beat in flour mixture until blended & the consistency of brown sugar.

Step 1
Gradually beat in:
2 lg. eggs, lightly beaten
fold in just until combined:
1 c. mashed very ripe bananas (about 2)
1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
***Adding semi-sweet chocolate morsel (about 1 c.) makes it more delicious
Scrape the batter into a 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 loaf pan and spread evenly. Bake 50-60 mins. until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan on a rack for 5-10 mins. before unmolding to cool completely.
