A Cajun Dip for Sweet Potato Fries
By doran65
I think I’ve discovered the answer to a most unimportant quandary at our house.
As the “condiment family” (according to my daughter-in-law), we couldn’t decide what to serve with sweet potato fries–neither my homemade sweet potato skinny fries or the frozen ones sold commercially (Costco sells our favorite.) We’ve tried spicy catsup, ranch dressing, cinnamon-sugar, honey, honey-dijon dressing, etc. Nothing did it for us.
Recently, I saw this recipe in a magazine. It’s so simple. If you like sweet potato fries, I think you will go for it too! The cajun seasoning adds a kick and the molasses sweetens it a bit. It’s the perfect combination.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (I prefer olive oil mayonnaise for fewer calories)
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
