  • 1 C pecans (chopped)
  • 2 T butter (melted)
  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1/2 t vanilla
  • 1 C whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine pecans and butter and spread on a baking sheet. Toast in oven 5 minutes. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Stir in 3/4 C cooled nuts. Whip cream in separate bowl and fold together with cream cheese mixture. Spoon or pipe into parfait glasses and serve topped with remaining nuts. Serve immediately, or chill several hours to allow flavors to blend.
