PLANTATION HAM PIE

Ingredients

  • parsley wheels:
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 3 cups of cubed cooked ham
  • ½ cup chopped red peppers (optional)
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups of bisquick baking mix
  • ½ cup cold water
  • ½ cup snipped parsley

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 425.
2. Melt butter in large skillet and cook and stir ham, peppers and onion in butter until ham is golden and onion tender.
3. Stir in soup and milk. Heat to boiling stirring frequently. Pour into ungreased baking disk *8x8x2) and place in oven.
4. Prepare wheels by stirring mix and water to a soft dough.
5. Shape into balls and knead lightly 5 times on floured board. Roll into rectangles 12.7.
6. Sprinkle parsley over and roll up tightly. But into 9 equal slices.
7. Arrange on hot ham mixture and bake uncovered 20-25 minutes
