Ingredients
- 3 packages frozen chopped spinach
- 4 T. butter
- 2 T. flour
- 2 T. onion
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable liquid (cooking water from spinach)
- 1 t. worchestershire sauce
- 3/4 t. celery salt
- 3/4 t. garlic salt
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 6 oz. roll Jalapeno cheese. (if unavailable, use Velvetta
- and jalapenos)
- 1/2 t. red pepper
- 1/2 t. black pepper
- Butterred bread crumbs, optional

Preparation
Step 1
Cook spinach according to directions on package. Drain and save 1/2 cup of liquid. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add flour, stirring until smooth. Add onion and cook until soft, then add liquid slowly, stirring constantly. Cook until smooth and thick. Add seasonings and chopped cheese. Stir until melted. Add cooked spinach, pour into serving dish and top with bread crumbs.
