Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 3 Tbsp oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 lb mixed mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 white port
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup parsely, minced
  • pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and oil in large saucepan. Saute garlic and oinion slowly over low heat, 10 minutes. Add sliced mushrooms, cover and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add broth, port and tomato paste. Simmer 10 minutes. Add parsely, freshly ground pepper, and serve.
