  • 1 Loaf French Bread
  • Extra Virgin olive Oil
  • 1 8 oz. Container Cream
  • 1 8 oz. Container Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. Horseraddish
  • 3 Green Onions, chopped
  • 1 Pound Roast Beef, deli sliced
  • 4-6 Roma Tomatoes, sliced
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

Servings 12

Step 1

Slice the french bread in 1/4 inch slices and brush each side with olive oil. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 8 minutes or until brown on one side. In the meantime, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, and horseraddish with a hand mixer until combined and smooth. Stir in the chopped green onions. With the cooled bread slices, spread the cream mixture, place a slice of roast beef and a slice of tomato on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Note: the bread can be toasted a day ahead of time and kept in an air tight container. Assemble the burchetta 1 hour ahead; wrap and refrigerate them until ready to serve.
