Harvest Baked Apples

Ingredients

  • 8 Medium Baking Apples
  • 1 Cup – Sharp Cheddar
  • 1/2 Cup – Orange Juice
  • 1/4 Cup - Raisins
  • 1/4 Cup – Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup – Pecans, toasted
  • 1/2 tsp – Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Remove cores from apples leaving ½ inch at bottoms. Pierce the skins with sharp knife & place in shallow baking dish. Mix juice, sugar & cinnamon & pour over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 – 35 minutes or until tender, basting occasionally. Combine cheese, raisins & pecans. Spoon into centers.
