PINEAPPLE HAM STEAK

Ingredients

  • 4 ham steaks
  • 1 teaspoon of oil
  • ½ cup of pineapple juice
  • 4 slices of pineapple
  • 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of white rum (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon parsley

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook the ham steaks and keep in a warm oven.
2. Pour the pineapple juice and the rum in the cooking pan.
3. Add brown sugar and pineapple slices and cook slowly turning for 3 minutes.
4. Put the pineapple slices on the ham steaks.
5. Mix cornstarch in the sauce to thicken.
6. Pour over the ham steaks and sprinkle with parsley.
