Baked Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh mushrooms-sliced
  • thick or halved
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Panko crispy plain bread crumbs
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 to 1 tsp Montreal or
  • Cajun seasoning
  • (2 tsp if you like spicy!)
  • pinch of cayenne pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place mushrooms in a large bowl or in a large plastic bag.

2. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.

3. Combine bread crumbs, garlic powder, pepper and seasoning in a small bowl.

4. Sprinkle seasoning mixture over mushrooms and toss to coat in plastic bag.

5. Spread mushrooms over baking sheet or 9" X 13" baking dish, sprinkle any leftover crumbs over the mushrooms.

6. Bake at 450 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
