Ingredients

- 3/4 * 3/4 cup whole milk
- 4 * 4 large eggs
- 1 * 1 tablespoons sugar
- 1 * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 * 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 * 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 * 1 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 12 * 12 ounces Golden Delicious apples (about 2), peeled, cored, thinly sliced
- 3 * 3 tablespoons (packed) golden brown sugar
- * Powdered sugar (optional)

Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees grease deep dish pie plate 9 x 9 square. Arrange apple slices in the bottom of the pan in an overlapping pattern. Dot top with butter and place pan in oven for 10 minutes, or until butter is melted and apples are slightly soft.
Meanwhile, combine milk, eggs, vanilla, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Add flour and Wisk (blender works better) until smooth. (Place in refrigerator for 1/2 hour) Pull pan from oven and pour batter evenly over apples. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over top then place back in oven and bake 20 minutes until pancake is puffed and golden brown on the top and firm in center. Serve immediately, warm with sprinkle of powered sugar and maple syrup.
